Fit

Together with the data logger the following accessories are supplied:

  • A power adapter: AC power supply 5V, output 0.5A
  • USB connection cable

The recorded data can then be sent via the USB data cable to the PC and evaluated with the provided software.

Function

The data logger monitors and records carbon dioxide, temperature and relative humidity. It shows this information on a display, but when preset CO² values are exceeded an alarm goes off. It can storage per measured value 5 333 values and in total 15 999 values.

This sensor can be used to monitor air quality and therefore the effectiveness of space ventilation. The following CO2 levels should be followed:

  • < 800 ppm = good
  • between 800 and 1000 ppm = acceptable
  • > 1000 ppm = bad

Levels above 1000 ppm must be addressed by increasing natural ventilation (opening windows, doors) or if not possible, by installing mechanical ventilation.
