Device which allows to increase the number of connections within a computer network through ports called Ethernet or RJ45.

Unmanaged switches work right out of the box, with no software to instal and nothing to configure. Each switch port independently sets itself for the optimal speed and determines whether to run in half- or full-duplex mode automatically. They are also designed to immediately accommodate all of the devices in your network.

Make sure the network switch is always powered (UPS) and protected from voltage fluctuations and surge.

Air must be able to flow freely around the switch, especially in hot countries.

It is possible to connect several switches together but it is important to keep their number as low as possible.
