TURBIDITY TEST tube, plastic, 5-2000 NTU

Form

Transparent uncoloured plastic tube, Ø around 25 mm, measuring turbidity between 5 and 2000 NTU. Length of the tube is at least 80 cm. At the bottom a black cross on a yellow background can be seen, when looked through the tube. Per piece.

Function

Used to measure the turbidity (cloudiness) of water. Turbidity has an influence on the acceptability of water, as well on the treatment method that will have to be applied to make it potable. In emergencies, the turbidity should be preferably less than 5 (N)TU, and certainly less than 20 (N)TU.
