Indications

Moderate to severe pain in adults and adolescents above 12 years of age

Instructions for use

Must be give as IM, slow injection or IV infusion IV.

Tramadol is not a substitute for morphine. The analgesic potency of tramadol is approximately 10 times less than morphine (Level 3 analgesic).

In some countries, tramadol is on the list of narcotics (Cf Introduction on drugs: Narcotic and psychotropic drugs).
