Stimulant laxative

Indications

Prevention of opioid-induced constipation (codeine, morphine, etc.)

Short-term, symptomatic treatment of constipation

Instructions for use

Tablets should be swallowed without being chewed or crushed.

To prevent opioid-induced constipation, use lactulose if stools are solid or bisacodyl if stools are soft.

Advice on diet should accompany treatment.
