MAYO TABLE

Definition

A table used for laying out sterile surgical instruments, sutures, and other utensils/items required during an operation or intervention. It is designed to include an appropriate top or surface with no crevices, screws or rivets, and most tables include telescoping pedestals for height adjustment and swivel castor bases.

This table is used in the so-called "sterile area" of the operation site.

Do not force or damage the adjusting screw of the stand.

Maintenance

After each use, the table must be cleaned and disinfected with a detergent/disinfectant solution for surfaces / non-invasive medical equipment. Prepare use-solution in concentration required. Always read the label and product information before use. Do not mix with other products. Make sure to wet the surfaces completely, use a wipe or towel, keep them wet for the whole exposure time.
