Single use
A single-use device, also referred to as a disposable device, is intended for use on one patient during a single procedure. It is not intended to be reprocessed (i.e., cleaned and disinfected or sterilized).
CE marking: declaration that the product meets EU standards for health, safety, and environmental protection. The CE marking indicates that the product may be sold freely in any part of the European Economic Area, regardless of its country of origin.

Instructions for use

These sputum containers are for single use and should be incinerated after use. If not possible, add chlorine (1% active chlorine = 10 000 ppm = 10 tab of 1 g active chlorine/l) or dettol before waste disposal.

Wear a mask when opening the container.

MSF requirements

Screw cap: security for the person who is taking the sample and for the laboratory technician, better closure and minimizes the risks of spatters when opening.
