Definition

A hand-held device used to extract milk from the breast for collecting and feeding to an infant. The device produces a low-grade suction through a funnel-like component that is applied to the breast; the milk collects in an attached bottle. The device is activated by the mother.

Instructions for use

Maintenance

The breast pump must be dismantled, cleaned and disinfected after each use. Some models are not autoclavable and must be boiled during 5 minutes.

Do not use abrasive cleaners / detergents.
