Instructions for use

Fill up the ice packs to a little below the level of the lid to allow for expansion and DO NOT put them in the freezer touching one another, otherwise it will be impossible to remove them once they have frozen and expanded.

Caution

Some temperature-sensitive products are seriously damaged by freezing:

  • Use only ice packs filled with water! Ice packs pre-filled with coloured refrigerant gel are not suitable since they have a freezing point below 0 ºC.
  • Wait for the frozen ice packs to rise to 0 ºC before placing them in the vaccine carrier (keep them at room temperature for at least 30 minutes until water is visible inside).
  • Place cardboard between the temperature-sensitive products and the ice packs to prevent them touching.
