- Insertion opening with notch allowing to remove needles from Luer and Luer lock syringes using only one hand

A sharps pit is a necessary counterpart to the use of this container.
This container is not suitable for auto-disable syringes (as they are too large for the system), nor for contaminated waste (compresses...).
