Instructions for use

Darunavir should always be given with ritonavir.

A fixed-dose combination (FDC) is available: DRV eq. 400mg base / r 50mg, tab.

The 75 and 150 mg dosages are intended for paediatric use.

Precautions for Use

Darunavir, when used in combination with ritonavir, reduces the efficacy of hormonal implants and oral contraceptives. Use injectable medroxyprogesterone or an intrauterine device as alternative methods of contraception.
