BALL VALVE full flow, brass, 1", FxF threaded

Form

Brass valve with a handle to open or close in ¼ turn. Both ends are 1", female threaded. Handle is usually in red. Per piece.

Fit

Fit to another 1 inch threaded male part.

To ensure a leakage-free assembly on the male thread the use of threading fibres or teflon tape is required.

Function

Ball valves are often used to open and close a line. Gate valves are more adapted to regulate the flow.

Full flow valves, when fully opened, allow fluid to flow without pressure drop in the piping.
