FLATTENABLE HOSE, for 1"¼ drill, meter
Form
Flat hose, without couplings on the ends. Inner diameter of the hose is 1"1/4. Should be food grade quality, but preferably drinking water quality. Per metre.
Fit
Needs two 1"1/4 couplings to be connected to its ends, to fit to a submersible pump on one end and a pipe or tank on the other.
Function
To extract water from a borehole as an alternative to galvanised or HDPE pipes.
- The weight of the submersible pump has to be supported by a safety rope or cable running parallel to the boreline, not by the boreline itself.
- Submersible pumps should not be supported (hanged) by the boreline.
