Combined pure sine wave inverter and battery charger in a single enclosure. Designed for off-grid, backup, and hybrid power applications.

Function

Primary function:

  • provides uninterrupted 230V AC power to critical loads by switching (<20 ms) from grid/generator to battery power upon AC failure (UPS function).
  • charges 24V battery banks when external AC power is available.

Operation & Specific Features:

  • PowerAssist: prevents overload of a limited AC source by automatically supplementing it with power drawn from the batteries.
  • PowerControl: allows the user to set a maximum AC input current limit to avoid tripping external breakers.
  • dual AC outputs: main output provides UPS backup; the second output is only active when AC input is available, used to automatically disconnect non-critical loads during an outage.

Limitations:

  • heavy unit (30 kg); requires secure wall mounting.
  • advanced configuration (like setting up parallel operations or specific charging profiles) requires a specialized MK3-USB interface and Victron software.
