WARNING
The antenna of the BGAN is a radiating element, and as such is potentially dangerous. In order to prevent accidents related to micro-waves radiation, it is essential to maintain a distance of at least 1 meter between the front of the antenna (radiation area) and the user.
Do not handle the antenna during a telephone communication (voice or data). If the position of the antenna is not satisfactory, interrupt the communication ("hang up") before adjusting the antenna.
The rules are simple but ignoring them can have serious consequences, particularly on the eyes (damage to the retina and/or the cornea).
In case of incident (even without obvious damage), seek medical advice as quickly as possible and carry out an ophthalmologic examination.
