Instructions for use

Pre-anaesthetic and intraoperative use:

  • Adults: 0.2 mg to 0.4 mg by IV or IM route
  • Children (1 month to 12 years of age): 0.004 to 0.008 mg/kg to a maximum of 0.2 mg by IV or IM route

Reversal of neuromuscular blockade:

  • Adults: 0.2 mg per 1 mg neostigmine by IV route. Alternatively, a dose of 0.01-0.015 mg by IV route with 0.05 mg/kg neostigmine
  • Children (1 month to 12 years of age): 0.01 mg/kg by IV route with 0.05 mg/kg neostigmine

Precautions for Use

Toxicity due to over dosage or administration of excessive dose.

Toxicity will be mitigated/prevented by ensuring administration of proper dose, the drug should only be administered by a health professional.
