SURGE ARRESTER type 1+2, 3P+N 350V, modular, remote transfer

Form

This SPD provides coordinated type 1 and type 2 protection for three-phase low-voltage distribution systems, using a removable cartridge to simplify maintenance and ensure high energy-handling capability.

  • nominal system voltage (Ue): 230/400 V AC (+/–10 %)

  • maximum continuous operating voltage (Uc): 350 V AC (L/N and N/PE)

  • voltage protection level (Up): < 1.5 kV (L/N and N/PE)

  • short-circuit withstand (Isccr): 25 kA

  • nominal discharge current (In): differential mode 25 kA, common mode 100 kA

  • response time: ≤ 25 ns

  • SPD type / class: 1 + 2 (IEC 61643-11)

  • Iimp: differential mode 25 kA (L/N), common mode 100 kA (N/PE)

  • number of poles: 3P + N

  • dimensions: 90 × 142.8 × 70 mm

  • weight: 1.43 kg

includes

  • 1 × removable SPD module
  • 1 × instruction manual

Per piece.

Fit

  • installation location: main distribution board / sub-distribution

  • recommended back-up fuse / MCB: gG 315 A or NSXm/NSX breakers up to Isc = 25 kA

  • AC system compatibility: TT / TN-S

  • mounting type: 35 mm DIN rail

  • IP protection: IP20

  • max wire size: 2.5 to 35 mm² (tunnel terminals, top and bottom)

Function

This SPD protects three-phase electrical systems from transient overvoltages caused by lightning strikes or switching operations. Its hybrid spark-gap and MOV design handles very high impulse currents in both common-mode and differential-mode configurations. The removable cartridge enables fast replacement, while mechanical indication and remote signalling (1 C/O contact) provide continuous monitoring of the device's operational state and end-of-life condition.
