Function

The surge protective device (SPD) protects AC installations and sensitive loads from transient overvoltages caused by lightning or switching disturbances.
Using MOV technology and an integrated thermal disconnector, it limits surge energy to safe levels and provides coordinated Type 2 + Type 3 protection.
