Function
This SPD protects 1000–1200 V DC PV strings from high-energy lightning currents and switching surges. VG technology combines a high-energy varistor with a specific gas tube to eliminate leakage current and extend service life. It provides coordinated protection in both common and differential modes and features a failsafe thermal disconnection system with mechanical indication and remote signalling via a changeover contact.
