Function
The surge protective device (SPD) protects photovoltaic systems and connected equipment against transient overvoltages caused by lightning or switching operations.
Using VG technology (varistor + gas tube), it diverts high-energy surges safely to ground while maintaining zero leakage current and ensuring reliable Type 2 protection up to 1500 V DC.
It provides effective common-mode and differential-mode protection for PV arrays and downstream equipment.
