Form
Thread seal tape, also called plumbers tape, made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Usually in white, but colour is irrelevant. Width of 19 mm and 0.1 mm thick. Roll of ± 15 metre. Supplied on small spool with cover. Per roll.
Function
Used to seal tapered pipe threads to ensure a watertight connection/joint by rolling on (or wrapping over) the top of the thread on the male connector before fixing it on the female coupling.
