Instructions for use
The “Laptop as Server” in the Light Field Network Kit operates within an MSF OCG infrastructure to be defined with the relevant focal points. It is designed for short-term projects requiring rapid deployment and a small number of users.
It is less powerful than a standard FNK. It will be configured before shipment, either at HQ or on-site, based on the OCG focal points' instructions. Depending on availability, the model may vary, but the Unidata code remains the same.
As of July 23, 2025, the model is the Lenovo P16v Gen2.
Warranty repairs must be handled either by technical departments in Europe or by an official manufacturer partner. Laptops must be returned as hand luggage — never by cargo — to avoid customs fees.
