Fit

  • Installation:
    • Mounted on horizontal return pipes.
    • Requires free space for maintenance access.
    • Installed away from flow disturbances such as elbows, valves, or pumps; minimum straight length recommended is five times the pipe diameter.
  • Electrical Connections:
    • Brown: Common
    • Blue: Normally Open (N.O.)
    • Black: Normally Closed (N.C.)
    • Yellow/Green: Earthing

Function

  • Operation and Control:
    • Protects pumps by switching electrical circuits when liquid flow decreases or stops.
    • Enables sequential control of pump operation.
    • Allows automatic starting of auxiliary pumps and machines.
    • Activates alarm and signalling systems in case of insufficient or interrupted flow.
    • Disconnects water flow cooling processes and associated equipment when flow is interrupted.
    • Switches off sprayers when air supply fails in heating coil systems.
    • Disconnects machine tools when freezing oil flow is interrupted.
