Form

Block of ceramic or silica with high resistance to high temperatures, also called a refractory brick, 60% of aluminium oxyde AI203. Dimensions: 230 x 114 x 76 mm. Open article. Per piece.

Fit

Use with refractory cement. Included in the De Montfort refractory materials module KWATMINCM11 and suitable with the frame in the metal works module KWATMINCM13.

Function

Used to build burners for waste management. Implemented with refractory mortar, the system is a key factor to make the burner (oven or other construction) last longer by resisting to high temperature. The bricks are heavy and don't last forever. It is hard to ask a factory to produce them because each batch needs to pass a quality test. Good quality bricks are very hard to find, especially locally.
