CEMENT, CEM I 42.5N, molten, bag of 25kg

Form

Mix of specific powder in a strong paper bag usually lined with plastic. Minimal quality standards:

  • CEM I (= Portland cement with a maximum of 5% other materials)
  • 42.5 N (indicator of strength development and indicator of grinding fineness)

Open article. Per bag of ± 25 kg.

Fit

To be mixed with water, sand and or gravel, depending on the use.

Function

Used for general construction or rehabilitation work. Basic ingredient for concrete, mortar and stucco. Bags must be stored in a dry place and not longer than 3 months.

Cements with strength class 42.5 N are mostly used in the event that the required compressive strength of concrete at 28 days must exceed 30 N/mm² (i.e. higher than class C25/30 according to NBN B 15-001). These cements are also suitable for use at lower temperatures.

Often cement with other strengths and specifications are available locally. See the technical specifications and the bill of quantities of your construction project, for the specifications required and procure the materials accordingly.
