Form
Metal 4” or ND100 coupling, with a lock system, Guillemin type, with one end grooved. Per piece.
Fit
To connect a 4" or ND 100 spiralled pipe (CWATHOSS4PM5-) or flat hose (CWATHOFD4PM5) on one side and to a Guillemin coupling device on the other side.
The hose or pipe is connected to the grooved side. When connecting, make sure to tighten hose or pipe to the coupling with an appropriate band clip (CWATCOUCN4-). This to avoid the hose or pipe from slipping off due to water pressure.
Function
Used at the end of a pipe in order to be able to connect to another pipe or a specific device such as a motor pump or a bladder.
To ensure a leakage-free assembly, on the male thread the use of threading fibres or teflon tape is required. On the symmetric half coupling part, the gasket/seal must be present and free of debris. It is quarter turn closing and can be fastened by hand or a hook spanner.
