Instructions for use

Filters protozoa, helminths, bacteria, and most but not all viruses.

The filter candles should be brushed every 2 weeks with the soft brush supplied and rinsed with filtered water.

Filter candles must be replaced when their diameter falls below a specified limit, if cracks appear on their surface or earlier if required. This is preferable every 6 months, but at least once per year.

The gasket should be placed in the upper part of the filter, just beneath the filter candle.

Precautions for Use

Do not boil filter candles, or pour boiling water onto the upper part of the filter.
