FLOAT, plastic, Ø 220mm + ring

Form

Plastic floating sphere, round or oblong, hollow, inflated and air- tight, around Ø 220 mm, with a ring for attaching a rope. Unit of measurement: 1 piece.

Fit

Used with the suction hose of surface pumps. Ideally should be connected to a strainer fitted at the end of the hose.

Function

Used to make sure the suction hose used with a surface pump is not lying at the bottom of the water reservoir (lake, river or tank). In this way the amount of solid contaminant (such as mud) pumped with the water is minimised.
