Instructions for use

This item is not intended to be used as part of medical care (should not to be applied directly on a patient). Different products (DEXTPERM+++) with the same active ingredient exist for patient care.

The insecticide powder remains effective for 2 to 4 months provided it is applied to dry surfaces, protected from wind and human disturbance.

Do not apply the powder to wet surfaces as this reduces its effectiveness.

Use against Rat fleas:

Dust insecticide powder into each burrow, with a layer 1 cm thick around the opening.

Deposit patches of powder, 15 - 30 cm wide and 1 cm thick, along rats' favoured runs.

Use against Human fleas:

Dust mattresses and crevices in beds and floors where fleas rest during the day.

Infants' bedding should not be treated but thoroughly washed.

Caution:

The use of an insecticide must be agreed by the local authorities (MoH). This insecticide can not be used on humans. If human application is required, another insecticide powder is available in the medical catalogue (PERMETHRIN 0.5% powder for human body). In all cases please refer to your medical supervisor.
