Instructions for use

Used as a vector control measure to treat water bodies infested with disease-carrying insects including mosquitoes, midges, and black fly larva, to kill the insect's larvae.

Product is specific for drinking water. Always follow the instructions and/or information on the safety data sheet.

Amounts to foresee when ordering:

- For clean water (standing water, shallow ponds, lakes, woodland pools), 0.5-1 g/m2

- For moderately polluted water (tidal waters, marshes, swamps, etc.), 1-2 g/m2

- For highly polluted water (drains, cesspits, and other water high in organic matter content), 2-5 g/m2

Precautions for Use

Personal precautions:

  • use personal protective clothing
  • avoid contact with the skin, eyes and clothing and avoid breathing in the dust
  • don't eat, drink or smoke while using the insecticide
  • read use instructions very carefully before using

Environmental precautions:

  • do not discharge into the subsoil or soil
  • do not discharge into drains, surface waters or groundwater
  • some hazard to fish, birds, and beneficial insects (insects likes bees pollinating or predatory insects functioning as pest control).

  • non-phytotoxic.

Storage

  • Segregate from foods and animal fooder
  • Do not store together with strong oxidizing agents (for example chlorine)
  • Protect against moisture
  • Keep away from heat
  • Protect from direct sunlight.

  • Protect from temperatures above: 40 °C
  • Changes in the properties of the product may occur if substance/product is stored above indicated temperature for extended periods of time.
