Form

Surface membrane (diaphragm) pump powered by a petrol engine. Synonym: sludge pump. Inlet and outlet fitted with 3” spherical couplings. All mounted in a metallic frame. Closed article: Libellula with Honda GX160 engine. Unit of measurement: 1 piece.

Specifications:

  • Able to handle solids of a max diameter of 50mm

Fit

Connects to: 3” heliflex pipe on the suction side, 3" flathose on the delivery side. Main component of KIT, LATRINE EMPTYING (KWATKPUPLE-).

Function

Used to transfer sludge (thick liquids, mainly sewage or sullage), containing abrasive or solids in suspension from latrine pits or septic tanks. Arrows on the pump indicate the direction of flow. Recommended to order the kit with all accessories instead of the separate pump. See the kit catalogue for more information.

During use, operators instructions have to be strictly observed. Appropriate PPE must be used at all times when operating. Clean and disinfect thoroughly after each use.
