DEXAMETHASONE/ ANTIBACTERIAL eye drops

Therapeutic Action

Combination of an antibacterial (neomycine/tobramycin) and a steroid anti-inflammatory (dexamethasone)

Indications

Local anti-inflammatory and antibacterial treatment of the eye :

  • in post ophthalmological surgery,
  • infections due to neomycin-sensitive germs with an inflammatory component.

Instructions for use

Sterile eye drops for ocular use only.

  • Dexamethasone/neomycin: each ml contains 0.033 mg of dexamethasone sulfate and 117 UI of neomycin sulfate.
  • Dexamethasone/tobramycin: each ml contains 1 mg of dexamethasone and 3 mg of tobramycin.

Dexamethasone/neomycine can be replaced by dexamethasone/tobramycin in case of shortage.

Precautions for Use

Do not use in children under 2 years of age.

Storage

  • Below 25ºC
  • Tightly close the bottle after each use to prevent contamination.
  • Keep for maximum 1 month after opening (write the date on the bottle).
