ALCOHOL-BASED hand rub

Full Name

Synonym: Hand Sanitiser

Therapeutic Action

Antiseptic for local application

Indications

Hand antisepsis by friction, before and after procedures or wearing gloves

Instructions for use

Ready-to-use alcohol-based hand rub, solution or gel. Both presentations have the same antiseptic efficacy.

The solution (or gel) should contain at least 70% ethanol or 75% isopropyl alcohol (isopropanol or 2-propanol).

To be used on clean or unsoiled, powder-free (use powder-free gloves) and dry hands. The gel protects better the skin of the hands from dryness in case of frequent use.

Same code for 500 ml solution and gel. Depending on the product registered in the country, specify the presentation required (gel or solution) to your supply centre when ordering.

The 500 ml bottle should preferably be supplied with hand pump.

Holders (wall-mounted or bedside holder) designed for the 500 ml bottle are available. Caution! before ordering holders, check with your supply centre the shape of the bottle which will be supplied (squared or round bottle) in order to receive the correct holder adapted to the bottle.

The wall mount holder requires a botlle with hand pump for functioning.
