Therapeutic Action

Combination of lidocaine (local anaesthetic) and zinc oxide (skin protector and mild astringent)

Indications

Painful and pruriginous anal manifestations, especially during the haemorrhoidal crisis

Instructions for use

Rectal use

Apply the product around the anus with a finger or inside the anus with the cannula.

Ideally, the product should contain lidocaine and zinc oxide. Other suitable ingredients include allantoin, calamine, kaolin, zinc sulfate.

Avoid preparations containing balsam Peru or bismuth salts.

Ointment is the preferred form over cream.

Storage

  • Below 25ºC
  • Tightly close the tube after each use to prevent contamination.
