Therapeutic Action
Analgesic
Indications
Neuropathic specific adjuvant with analgesic and opioid-sparing effects and preventive effect on peripheral neuropathic pain.
Consider in the preoperative period for some patients:
- who are undergoing major surgery, thoracotomy, amputation
- with pre-existing neuropathic pain or risk factors
- with anticipated high levels of pain (opioid-sparing)
Consider in the postoperative period, for some patients:
- who underwent major surgery
- who underwent thoracotomy
- who underwent an amputation
- with anticipated high levels of pain (opioid-sparing)
- not responding to standard analgesia
in association with amitryptiline.
Instructions for use

Precautions for Use
Adverse effects: dizziness, sedation.
