Definition
Battery-powered device designed to measure the weight of infants or to monitor weight changes. The device consists of a removable tray fixed to the scale body. It can also be used as a flat scale by a locking device that ensure the safe weighing of a baby.

Instructions for use
Place the scale on a flat surface or fix it on a suitable support (e.g. wooden board).
Tare the scale every day with a test weight of 500 g or 1 kg.
2 successive weighings of the same baby allow to check the reliability of the scale.
The baby scale can be converted into a floor scale: the weighing tray can be removed quickly and easily from the base at the touch of a button.
