Transport of samples

  • All samples must be identified (patient's name or code nº + date and place of sampling).
  • All samples must be sent with clinical and epidemiological data.
  • All samples must be transported in a triple packaging box to prevent any risk of leakage and contamination (see related articles below).

Remark

The 44 mm Ø container is included in the laboratory module TRANSPORT MEDIUM FOR CSF (Trans-Isolate) intended for suspicions of meningitis epidemics.

For other indications, use the 30 mm Ø container.
