Definition
Sample collection cards are intended for the collection of dried blood spots (DBS) or dried plasma spots (DPS). The DBS and DPS are used for diagnosis and follow up of HIV infections and other pathogens by analysis of nucleic acids (DNA/RNA).

Instructions for use
After drying, the sample card should be stored in a ziplock bag with dessicant and a humidity indicator (10-60%). When the relative humidity rate on the humidity indicator card reaches 30% the dessicant bags must be replaced (see related items).
