Definition

A collection of items that includes an isotonic solution [typically sterile sodium chloride and buffer) and an application cup intended to be used to flush the eye of irritating particulates/chemicals in the event of accidental projection of a liquid.

Instructions for use

Can be used in the event of accidental exposure to blood (projection in the eyes).

Inform the staff regarding the use of the product.

2 bottles of isotonic solution must be wall mounted in every laboratory and every operating theatre with a wall bottle holder.

Caution

As the bottles and the wall mounts from different brands are not compatible, it is recommended to provide a sufficient stock of spare bottles. (see related articles below)
