Definition
A tall, slender, cylindrical vessel designed for holding various types of forceps prior to and during a surgical intervention or an examination in an operating room (OR) or examination room. It will have a wide or weighted base to give it stability. This is a reusable device.

Instructions for use
Must be pre-disinfected, cleaned and sterilized by steam autoclave every day to keep the serving forceps aseptic.

Do not fill the container with a disinfectant solution for soaking the forceps because of the risks of septic handling and corrosion.
