Scissors Metzembaum

Definition

Metzenbaum scissors are surgical scissors designed for cutting delicate tissue and blunt dissection. Blades are curved. The blade tips are usually blunt. These scissors are not recommended for cutting sutures, drains, or heavy tissue.

Metzenbaum-Lahey scissors tend to be shorter than standard Metzenbaum scissors.

Instructions for use
