PART LABORATORY

Specifications

The Laboratory part of the hospital kit is one of the essential support activities.

Components

It is composed of 3 essential modules

1. Rapid diagnostic tests with a glucometer and haemoglobinometer

2. All the necessary sampling equipment

3. A small module for the transport of samples

The other modules are optional

  • The transfusion module: it is not necessary to include it if only the outpatient part is ordered. The transfusion module is already included (mandatory) in the hospital ward (part equipment).
  • The blood bank refrigerator
  • A electrolytes analyzer: Spotchem EL SE-1520. It can only be ordered if there is qualified staff who can use the apparatus. The choice must be discussed with your lab advisor.
  • Some basic laboratory equipment with a microscope if no laboratory is installed on the spot and the reagents' module
  • The same diagnostic tests as in the mandatory modules but without the glucometer and hemoglobinometer
