The central pharmacy part of the hospital kit is one of the main support activities.
Components
It is composed of 5 essential modules
1. A cabinet to store the regulated medicines
2. Small equipment for medicines: tablet counter, plastic bags
3. Module with a refrigerator 94 litres to store medicines requiring cold chain
4. Module with the reference MSF guides and books
5. Module with stationary and small office equipment
The other modules are optional
- Shelves for the pharmacy stock
- A refrigerator for the blood bags
- Module with basic furniture: table, chairs…
- Module with freezer
