Definition
This set is part of the minimal equipment for any surgical structure.
It contains instruments to dilate the cervical canal and to perform the uterine curettage.
The forceps of Museux were preferred to the forceps of Pozzi that are less firm holdingwise and can cut a fragile uterine cervix.
The retractor allows a better access to the cervix than the speculum.
Be careful not to perforate the uterus with the hysterometer!
The chosen scoops are blunt and without openings in order to be less traumatic.
