Definition

Module intended for staff members who are involved in the medical waste management within health structures or during immunization campaigns, aimed at promoting safety measures and basic rules of hygiene.

Indications

This module includes Personal Protective Equipment for 2 persons, 2 trunks and hygiene articles.

Instructions for use

The trunks are intended for the two operators so that they can store the equipment for which they are responsible. The large markers are used to identify personnally the trunks.

Train and encourage the staff to use the equipment properly.

POLYVIDONE IODINE is included for disinfecting the wound and surrounding skin in case of an accidental injury (except burn). Let the wound bleed, wash immediately with soap and water, rinse and disinfect for 5 minutes with polyvidone iodine.

Caution

The use of polyvidone iodine does not exempt from seeing a medical doctor as soon as possible and reporting the accident according to the current procedures.
