Definition

Lipid-based Nutrient Supplement - Small Quantity (LNS-SQ) is a ready-to-use product in paste form, intended for the prevention of malnutrition in children from 6 to 24 months of age.

LNS-SQ can also be used as nutritional support in emergency situations.

Consumed as a supplement to the usual diet (breastfeeding and diversification), this product provides the micronutrients required at these ages and 110 Kcal/day, allowing to balance the daily intake of micronutrients.

Peanut, sugar, vegetable fat, dry skimmed milk powder, whey, maltodextrin, minerals and vitamins complex, cocoa, emulsifier: lecithin.

May contain traces of soy.

Packaging & Labelling

Primary and secondary packaging must protect the hygienic and nutritional qualities of the product during transport, handling, storage under MSF field conditions.

Instructions for use

This product does not require dilution or cooking. Its packaging facilitates direct consumption.

Recommended dosage: 1 sachet per day

Storage

  • Below 30ºC - Protect from sunlight ‐ Protect from humidity
  • Shelf life: 24 months from the manufacturing date stated on the packaging
  • After opening, the product should be consumed within 24 hrs.
