Form

Self vulcanising tape, 20 mm wide, thickness 0.5 mm, 10 m long. With separation layer, PIB rubber, resists to minimum 70°C, tensile strength minimum 2.2 Mpa. Main brands: HPX SF1910 PIB and Scapa Tapes 2501. Per roll.

Fit

Can work on nearly all materials.

Function

Used to make waterproof connections, for antenna wires and connectors for example. The tape has to be used in a correct way to work properly. It has to be stretched at at least 50% before being applied. The material remains flexible, and does not leave a sticky residue after removal.
