LIFE LINE fall arrest, for work at height

Form

Lanyard constituted of a braided polyamide strap or a twisted or braided rope, 2 m long, non-adjustable.

- strap: minimum width: 44 mm

- rope minimum diameter: 12 mm

- equipped with:

  • a snap hook at one end and a hook with safety at the other
  • an energy absorber in case of fall

Fit

In accordance with the standard EN354 & 355.

Must be used with a sliding fall arrester system, a harness and a helmet

Function

Secure personnel working at height.

This is a specific technique and must be supervised by an experienced person.

For all fall arrester system, the resistance depends on the anchorage point. It is essential to choose this one carefully and to check that it is sufficiently resistant.
