Instructions for use
- Open the generator packaging and immediately place the CO2 generator in the jar along side the plates, between the rack and the outside of the container.
- Place 1 generator for incubation in GENbox 2.5 L, and 3 for GENbox 7 l.
- Do not open the sachet until ready to use.
- Wear gloves while handling the bags, or wash your hands with soap immediately after use.
- Do no incubate the bags at temperature higher than 45°C.
Storage
- On receipt store sachets between +2ºC and +25°C in a dry environment
- Do not freeze
- Avoid direct sunlight and excessive temperature
- Shelf life: 18 months
- Guaranteed minimum remaining shelf life at delivery: 1/3 of total shelf life
Waste management
All the generators used must be discarded with other laboratory waste.
MSF requirements
CO2 generators create CO2 atmosphere in jars used to incubate the prepared Middlebrook 7H11-medium plates.
