Instructions for use

Dilute in distilled water. Autoclave the mixture before use. For preparation of NaOH solution, the reagent can be substituted by sodium citrate anhydrous.

Storage

  • Store the reagent at room temperature in a closed container.
  • NaOH-sodium citrate stock solution, once prepared, must be stored in a screw cap flask and can be kept at room temperature, but refrigeration (+4°C) is preferred.

Sodium citrate is used to prepare NaOH-sodium citrate stock solution, for sputum decontamination procedure.
